We would like to inform you that the transition to electronic Instructions for Use (eIFU) for our disposable product groups intended for professional users continues to proceed as planned and on a step-by-step basis.
Following the successful transition of the unheated breathing sets product group on February 2, 2026, the following product groups will now be converted to eIFU:
- Heated breathing sets
Gradual transition from May 15, 2026, up to and including June 12, 2026 - Exhalation valve WILAsilent2
Transition effective from May 15, 2026
The electronic Instructions for Use are available to you online at any time at: https://eifuportal.wilamed.com
In addition, beginning May 15, 2026, only one printed Instruction for Use per packaging unit will be included with the above-mentioned product groups. This ensures compliance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (MDR) regarding safe use and labeling, regardless of the provision of eIFU.
The transition is carried out in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) 2021/2226, as amended and including Regulation (EU) 2025/1234, and is part of our sustainability strategy. It contributes to reducing paper consumption and CO₂ emissions while ensuring that you always have access to the most up-to-date product information.
