At the award ceremony on April 10, 2018, the Competence Initiative for Energy and Environment in the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region (ENERGIEregion Nürnberg e.V.) selected three Central Franconian companies that are considered “particularly exemplary” due to sustainable energy efficiency. The initiators also honored the energy concept of medical technology manufacturer WILAmed from Kammerstein with the “energie.effizienz.gewinner 2018” award. An interdisciplinary jury recognized in particular sustainable investments in energy efficiency that not only help to save costs and thus increase the competitiveness of companies, but also make a significant contribution to securing jobs and protecting the climate.
